Pelargonium graveolens, also called strong-smelling Pelargonium, or pink geranium, its essential oil is rightly gaining popularity in the world of natural cosmetics. Its toning properties make it an essential oil well prized as it would also be credited with natural anti-aging virtues, thus offering radiance to dull, difficult skin and even to faces more affected by environmental pollutants and external aggressions.
Relief for blemishes, since the 17th century
Ideal for difficult and uncomfortable skin or prone to blemishes, the essential oil of pelargonium graveolens is said to originate from South Africa. How to recognize it ? It has more indented leaves than those of the more common geranium, and they are very downy. Its flowers are pale pink / white with darker pink veins.
